(Santa Fe News) Santa Fe Community College has amassed a group of 70 volunteers to help single parents, students, and low-income households file their taxes. The program is free and runs through April 15, 2009. This is the second straight year Santa Fe Community College has offered the service.
The service is being offered at the William C. Witter Fitness Education Center, on the mezzanine overlooking the college campus at 6401 Richards Ave.. Hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays – 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
For more information on the program, Santa Fe residents can call 428-1780. Last year more than 5,000 Santa Fe residents took advantage of the program.
